Mobil 1 5W-50: The Factory Fill of Lexus LFA.
Blending the right viscosity and ability to deliver high performance at extreme temperatures, Mobil 1 5W-50 was selected as a perfect match for the high-rewing nature of the supercar’s engine.
“We needed an engine oil that guarantees oil pressure that can overcome inertial force at a very high rev limit of 9,000 rpm while maintaining viscosity at high temperature,” explains Chief Engineer Tanahashi Haruhiko. “That’s why we chose Mobil 1 for Lexus LFA. Mobil 1 is a consistent quality engine oil that is available anywhere in the world. So we really did not find the need to look at other brands.”

ExxonMobil have strengthened their commercial vehicle relationship with Mercedes-Benz and now supply the factory fill lubricant for all new Sprinter vans equipped with Diesel engines.

Taking into consideration the more rigorous requirements of newly designed hydraulic systems, including their lubrication and durability properties, ExxonMobil also created a new group of hydraulic oils called Mobil DTE 10 Excel. Mobil DTE 10 Excel oils were created using the newest hydraulic fluid production technology, which provides the oil with a high viscosity index, ensures much better hydraulics performance, reduces the need for power, and increases the productivity of equipment using it.
